Taylor Curtis is an engaging and energetic presenter and reporter for Sky Sports. Whether she’s hosting the weekly Crowd Goes Wild, a fun and light-hearted sports show, or diving deep into Rugby Nation, Taylor has become a familiar face to sports fans across New Zealand. From the age of 15, she always knew she wanted to be a sports commentator, fast-forward to now where she commentates national provincial Rugby Union and Rugby League, where her passion for the game truly shines.

Her analysis and commentary is supported by her personal experiences and her passion for covering female sports is something of second nature. From hosting test matches like those of the Black Ferns to interviewing high-profile athletes and grassroots players, Taylor excels in bringing their stories to life with humour and relatability.
On the field, Taylor’s career is marked by notable achievements. She played FPC rugby for Canterbury from 2015 to 2019, clinching the premiership three times. She later moved to Auckland for work where she continued to play FPC from 2020 to 2022 and currently plays Rugby League for the Counties Manukau Stingrays. Internationally, Taylor represented New Zealand in NZ Tag U21 in 2015, having been recognized for her sevens skills in Canterbury, where selectors saw her talents as highly transferable.

Outside of sports and broadcasting, Taylor continues to live a rather active lifestyle. Visiting her family who are down in Nelson, hunting and fishing or creating content with her twin sister Sam. Their TikTok’s reflect they don’t take life too seriously, capturing their playful personalities.
