K’Lee McNabb is a highly respected media personality, music artist, live event host, and educator with over two decades of experience in Aotearoa’s entertainment and broadcasting industries. Rising to fame in the early 2000s, she made her mark with four Top 10 singles — Broken Wings, Can You Feel Me? 1+1+1 (It Ain’t Two), and A Lifetime Left to Wait — from her self-titled gold-selling, Top 10 charting debut album K’Lee. Her musical success saw her share the stage with global icons such as Missy Elliott, Coolio, Cypress Hill, Shaggy, and the Backstreet Boys.
K’Lee is also a seasoned live host, having fronted international sporting events including the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2021/22, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, and the Fast5 Netball World Series. Nationally, she has emceed high-profile matches and tournaments for Netball New Zealand (Constellation Cup, Cadbury Series, ANZ Premiership), the NRL, NZ Rugby, and Super Rugby.
Currently, K’Lee is the co-host of the Flava Breakfast Show on NZME, where her vibrant personality and authentic voice connect with audiences across Aotearoa every morning. Off the airwaves, she is a proud lecturer at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi, teaching future broadcasters through the NZ Radio Training School (NZRTS).
Outside of her professional achievements, K’Lee is also a proud māmā of six. She balances her busy media and teaching career with a deep commitment to her whānau and culture, continuing to uplift and inspire in all areas of life.
