Cheree Kinnear

Cheree Kinnear is a digital content creator, presenter, and producer with a background in journalism and a passion for storytelling that connects.

Her career started as a Multimedia Sports Reporter at the New Zealand Herald, and it didn’t take long before she found herself in front of the camera. Following a stint with Radio Sport and Newstalk ZB, Cheree co-hosted NZME’s 2019 Rugby World Cup video news show and the 2021 America’s Cup before stepping into a full-time role as the Herald’s lead video reporter.

Cheree helped launch the Focus Morning Bulletin, which she solely produced and presented every weekday morning, growing a weekly audience of over half a million views. In 2023, she spent three months in France covering the Rugby World Cup before returning a year later to front the Herald’s video coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Now, Cheree works with a range of brands and companies to craft authentic, digital-first video content. From trending Reels to interview-led features, she specialises in end-to-end content production, bringing a warm, confident on-camera presence and a keen eye for detail behind the scenes.
