Carena West

As one-half of activewear brand Clique Fitness alongside her sister Bex, Carena is deeply immersed in the world of health and wellness, although that doesn’t mean she is averse to a bit of wining and dining!

Nestled on a farm in Clevedon, Auckland, Carena’s family life includes her husband Rob, their four-year-old daughter Emily, a small dog, a cat, a horse and a pony, and a couple of friendly sheep. With baby number two on the way and a full home renovation underway, life is as busy as ever, but Carena thrives on the balance between family, business, and creativity.

A huge fan of DIY, design, and art, Carena is also an award-winning wearable artist through the World of WearableArt Awards. Away from the fitness arena, she and Rob own Four Square Glen Eden, a vibrant hub at the heart of the local community.

After several years renovating houses in the sunshine state of Florida, Carena and her husband returned home just before the global pandemic, a milestone chapter in their lives that coincided with Emily’s arrival.

Carena is currently an ambassador for Auckland Thoroughbred Racing, a partner of Mazda NZ, and has previously collaborated with Edwards & Co, Kerastase, Logitech, and Ultimate Ears.
